16” WATER DISTRIBUTION MAIN
Sullivan City, TX - This waterline project was in response to the dynamic and rapidly growing urban areas of Sullivan City. The purpose of the project was to supply current and future water demands by making significant investments to install over 4,500 linear feet of 16" waterline from La Paloma Street in Sullivan City to the existing water tower, and install an additional 4,250 linear feet from the water tower to the western outskirts of the City, for a total of 8,700 linear feet of new PVC waterline.
The project was administrated in accordance with the Texas Water Development Board’s project funding requirements. Project responsibilities included topographical surveying, preliminary surveying for acquisition of easements and/or ROW, hydraulic study, preliminary planning, water design, preparation of plans, specifications and estimates (PS&E) package, construction bid procurement, Right-of-Entry acquisition, construction management and contract close-out.
