USACE REPLACEMENT OF OVERHEAD CRANE

Corpus Christi, TX - This was a non-personal services contract to provide a replacement of the hangar crane at the Corpus Christi Naval Air Station U.S. Customs and Border Protection Hangar.  SAMES provided all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision and other items necessary to complete the project in accordance with all contract documents and statement of work.

Scope of work included removal and demolition of the existing 6 ton underhung crane system. Inspection of the runway beams was performed before final installation of the new 6 ton traveling crane system.  This helped ensure any changes required for the proper and reliable operation of the new crane were implemented before it was installed.
